Shiite Caliphate of Islamic State of Iran is Testing President Biden Resolute Whilst Mr President is Making a Grave Mistake
The Islamic State Intelligence Ministry is testing the resolution of President Biden administration by their brazen attempt to kidnap and transport to Iran an American-Iranian dissident from the US soil.
The Manhattan District Attorney in the State of New York has indicted five Iranian nationals for their conspiracy to kidnap and transport of an American-Iranian journalist from her house in Brooklyn, New York. The DA alleges in a Grand Jury Indictment that the members of the Iranians intelligence team were in their advanced stage of planning whilst under FBI surveillance.
Mind you that the history of the Islamic State is fraught with thousands of assassinations of Iranian dissidents abroad which goes back to the 1980s-90s. They bombed and mass killed, kidnapped, assassinated, terrorised thousands of people all around the world including Argentina, Germany, France. In recent years, and mainly since 2018 when the former President Trump exhorted upon the Caliphate regime ‘maximum pressure’ policy, the Caliphate and his gangs of terrorists, including the Intelligence Ministry, went back to their drawing board of kidnap, terrorism and assassination tactics which was otherwise shelved for a while.
It appears that the intelligence Ministry, head of which is directly appointed by the Supreme Leader (Shiite Caliphate of the Islamic State), has a comprehensive plan to either physically terminate or lure into a third country where possible, kidnap and move their subject to Iran. The chilling reality is that the IM of the Caliphate regime has recently successfully executed the their plan in Turkey, Iraq.
This begs a serious question from the President Biden administration as to how it proposes and justifies, even against the security and interest of its own people and the United States, to deal with the kind of Islamic State, albeit Shiite one, that the only thing it knows translates to get what it wants by way kidnaping, terrorism, destabilising the peace and security of the region and beyond--not to mention the worse violator of human rights of the people of Iran.
President Biden makes a grave mistake by thinking that he is unable, or unwilling, to do anything beyond diplomacy at this stage, in terms of use of force and choice, preparation or financial, or otherwise justifies his inaction by nonurgency of any further dramatic action against the Islamic Caliphate. Why is it a grave mistake? Because the Caliphate, his cronies and terrorists think the same. President Biden and his team are playing poker with an open hand against a regime with such history. A regime that is now moving to get its hand again on $billions, enriching uranium much closer to the level of the weapon grade, having ballistic missiles program at an advanced stage and keep all his terrorists at its disposal. And they are now willing to make brazen moves against the US and its interests notwithstanding of places and targets.
Look to what extent they are willing to go without a slightest worry! Attacking the US bases and personnel in Iraq and Syria and bombing neighboring countries, vicariously of course, attacking commercial shipping on international waters and now kidnaping and/or assassinating Iranian dissidents abroad as well as a US citizen on the US soil. Did the Caliphate and his terrorists dare to think about any action of the kinds, or even less serious, whilst the former President Trump was in the office? Not at all. The key question now is why?
A simple answer is that the Caliphate and his terrorists were terrified of the consequences as they were; and are, extremely vulnerable and fragile. However, presidential candidate Joe Biden sent to the Caliphate and his team a very wrong message which President Biden is now bound with—at least for now.
Remember, the Caliphate regime is exceedingly small and weak as the majority of over 70% of the people of Iran said ‘No’ to the Caliphate regime in the recent referendum—by way of boycotting the presidential selection.
